So as soon as the kids were done with school I took them up to Idaho Falls. We met Grandma and Grandpa Payne at the pumpkin patch, and then over to Grandma and Grandpa Petersons where all the cousins were there all dressed up. We were able to get some pictures and then I hurried back to Pocatello so Matt could come with us Trick-or-Treating! Afterwards, we watched the Charlie Brown Halloween Special while we sorted through all the candy! It was actually one of the best parts! The kids had their most fun year so far!

Sadie has always wanted a princess party, and so this year for her birthday we were able to do it! Krystal has a gorgeous yard and decorations so we did it in her back yard and invited all of Sadie's girl cousins. There are 9 of them and that's not including Sadie and Sophie! Lots of little girls running around :)! The girls came with their hair undone and they got complete make-overs! Whit came in her beautiful blue dress and was our Cinderella, and we had a game where Dallin was the dragon and they loved it. When they were all done up we had a royal tea party and presents. It was such a special day!

So the day after the Peterson Reunion, we met Matt's family in Island Park at such a fun cabin. It was so big and had a hot tub in the back. Sophie has been one of those babies you dream about. She is so low maintenance and yet so cute and fun. Even when she was born she didn't cry. The only way I knew she was hungry in the night is because I could hear her making little noises. She has been such a joy and I love her so much. Her personality is to die for and I am so blessed to have her in my life. The other day she came in the house so upset and said, "there is a monster outside" and I said, "a monster?" and she replied, "yes, it is a monster that looks like a horse". So, then I realized she had seen the mule deer that live on our hill. I thought it was the cutest thing!!

This summer Connor was able to play baseball for the first time. He skipped T-ball and went straight to coaches pitch. He did so well and by the end of the season he was hitting it so far! I loved going to his games, and it was so sweet of everyone to come and support Connor.

Connor's birthday was really special because we got to spend half of the day with my family. He wanted to make sure Dallin was there. We went out to breakfast, to Tautphaus Park, Toys R Us, Garcia's and then we drove home so we could spend the evening with Matt. It was so fun opening presents and then going to Golden Corral. I have such a special bond with Connor and he has such a special place in my heart. So, I told him I didn't want him to grow up. Then, we started talking about when he goes on a mission and I told him I would send him so many fun packages. He said, "Even Army Men" and I told him of course. Then he said, "Mom, I know what I want you to send me more then anything?" So I asked him what and he said, "You in a box." Yes, the tears were coming and it melted my heart. Even when he is naughty he always tries to make things right. He was so mad at Sadie so he hurt her and so that night he said, "Can I say Family Prayer" So we told him he could and the main thing he prayed for was that Sadie wouldn't die and she would be safe. I love my boy!

So the reason we love the 4th so much is because it is one of our families longest running traditions. We wake up and go to the parade. After the parade we go over to Landon's for the best BBQ ever. There is always the yummiest food and dessert. Afterwards, there is always the Landon vs Peterson baseball game. If it is warm enough we go to the canal after the game. Then, we all meet up at the Fireworks and not only is it the best firework show, I think 2nd after DC, but Landon's get the closest spot. It is just the perfect day!

Seriously, if you need a dentist for you or your kids, Brodie is really good. Sadie and Connor both had to have cavities filled and they kept saying, "Brodie was soft". There are enough bad dentists that it is nice to have a recommendation for a good one, especially for kids. His number is 52-TOOTH and tell them you saw the blog and you will get a great deal!! You can even get in on a Saturday!

We were able to go back to Arizona for Spring Break. It was so fun to go back to some of our very favorite places. We drove by where we used to live and where Matt went to Med School, and Sadie and Connor's schools. I cried when we saw all of it...church, school, home, stores, memories...it is just weird how fast it flew by. We were able to stay at a Resort and it was such a blast. We went swimming everyday, I got Chipotle everyday, we got to go Shopping everyday and so basically it was heaven. It was so fun to have Matt there with us and just be together for some needed family time.

On Christmas Eve day we went up to Idaho Falls to see my family where we wouldn't be there on Christmas Day! It was so fun and there was so much excitement. We went to lunch and then went over to my parents house. They were able to give the kids their gifts and we were able to exchange with them as well. Afterwards, we drove home and got the kids in their Christmas Pj's. They decorated cookies for Santa, made gingerbread houses and then they wanted to sleep on Sadie's floor!! It was the best day! Plus, Matt had the day off so it was an addes bonus. I think I love Christmas Eve almost more then Christmas Day!!

For Thanksgiving my whole family met up in St.George. It was the first time that ALL of us have been together for Thanksgiving in a long time. It was fun to go swimming, out to dinner, games, and just being together. Thanks Mom and Dad, you are always so good to us!

He also had a really bad schedule on his birthday, so for the few hours he had off, my whole entire family drove to Applebees and surprised him. It made his day so special and meant the world to him! My Mom and Rebekah's Birthday was on Sunday, so I brought them a special Sonic drink to brighten up their day:)!! It was a great couple of weeks!

Of course Matt was working a 24 hour shift on my birthday, so my family really helped make the day special. I went up to IF and met my family for lunch at Garcia's. Then, the girls went shopping. Afterwards, I got to open my gifts that were so fun! Then I went to Jakers with my mom, Whit and Dal! It was a really fun day and thanks to everyone who thought of me. It really helps, and you will never know how much it means - especially when your husband can't be there!

First of all, I can't believe my baby is 8 years old. Before Sadie's birthday her Peterson Cousins had a party for her at Blast off and Garcia's. It was really special for her. Then on her actual birthday we went to Lava Hot Springs, just like we did for Connor. They has a blast. Then we went to Golden Corral for her b-day dinner. It was really good!! When we got home we opened presents and had cake. She is such a sweet girl and has such a strong testimony already. I can't believe she is 8!

We were able to drive down to Salt Lake and go to my cousin Kinzie's wedding. She looked so beautiful and she and Brad make the best couple. The dinner and reception were at my Aunt Susan's house and it was top notch. The decorations, food, photo booth, desserts - MIND BLOWING!! It was so fun to share in such a happy day!

We had a little 3 day reunion at my parents house this summer. It was fun because Dallin hasn't been with us for 2 years, so it was fun to just do some fun things...pop runs, volleyball, water balloon fights, Heise, golfing, eating (of course) and just being together!
