33 Weeks

You can see the eye socket and part of her nose and mouth

The normal ultrasound shot - profile

Her leg and foot

I went in for my Doctor's appointment today and they did a 3D ultrasound. It was my first one I have ever had so it was a little weird for me. But, it was so neat to see her little face and leg. Her face is pressed up against the placenta so it is a little squished in the picture, but it was still fun to see her little profile. I can't really tell, but it looked a lot like Sadie did, so I guess we'll have to see. My doctor is going to take me sometime during the last week of July! It is getting so close and so exciting. It is so hot here. It is supposed to get to 115 on Saturday. Thank goodness for air conditioning!!

I also have to say what Connor calls Sophie - "Baby Soapie"

Father's Day

I am so blessed to have such an incredible husband who is also the most amazing father. He is so kind and loving and good to our kids. He loves to play with them and spend time with them and he helps me more then I even deserve. Matt makes my life way too easy. I am so grateful Heavenly Father guided me to him, he is my greatest gift and blessing.

I also can't leave out Brent, who is Matt's dad. He is such a neat man and such an example of true kindness and humility. He also loved being a dad and I know that is why Matt is the father that he is. He played with his kids, but also taught them how to work hard. I know Matt has the drive he does because of his work ethic. Brent also taught his family to love the gospel and the Savior and that means the very most to me. We love you Brent.

My dad is the most giving person I have ever met. He is constantly serving and never wants any credit or anyone to even know about it. He is so wise and thoughtful, and everyone who knows him respects him incredibly. He is honest and kind, and probably one of the most fun people to be around. He woke us up every morning at 6:30 a.m. without fail to have family scripture study and prayer. I hated it then, but appreciate it so much now. I love you so much dad, you are my greatest example.

Our family is so blessed to have the fathers we do in our lives. Happy Father's Day!

Out Numbered

Seven girls, One boy!

Connor and Matt

Just the girls

For Mother's Day, we got all of the grand kids together and got their picture taken for Matt's mom. It was such a cute idea and the pictures turned out really good. The only problem was Connor wasn't having it. He was so naughty for pictures. I guess it could be because there are seven girls and then Connor. Plus, I am having another girl so their will be 8 little girls on the Payne side and one boy. So, Matt and his brothers really tried to make Connor feel better by getting sticks and playing swords with him. On the other hand, Sadie is in heaven with all of the girls she gets to play with.

Feeding the Ducks

When we were home we would drive around the river everday so that Sadie and Connor could see the ducks "guckies" and the temple. It was so cute! One day Dallin told us to pull over and he grabbed both kids and took them out to see the ducks. It was such a priceless moment.

Tea Party

Even Whit dressed up with them

Connor felt so apart

Such a fun party

I can't believe that used to fit Dallin

When we are in Idaho Whitney and Sadie always have a tea party. So, Whit was getting Sadie all dressed and ready. Then, she realized that Connor wanted to be apart, so she went and found him Dallin's old Ninja Turtle Costume and put it on him. He was so proud!! The only problem was he wouldn't ever take it off. He already thinks he is a ninja turtle, so that didn't help having the costume on. It is so weird to think that Dallin wore that at Connor's age and now he is ready to go on a mission. Time goes so fast! Anyway, it was so cute to see the kids all dressed up for their little tea party. Whit you are the best!

She loves to play with her cousins

Grandma and Sades

Little monster and grandma!

Yes, all good things must come to an end! We have to go back to Arizona to start our 4th year. It is always so fun to come home and spend time with family. We have had the best time and the next time I get to come home there will be some changes - I will have a new baby and Dallin will be on his mission. Change is never easy, and that is why saying goodbye this time will be especially difficult for me. I hate knowing the next time you do something it won't be the same. But, I guess that is what makes life exciting. I am telling myself that anyway! Connor hasn't always been the easiest little boy and Dallin has always been able to still communicate and play with him. He has had so much patience and love for him and now that Connor can communicate a little better they play so cute. Everytime Dallin makes up a game with Connor I feel the tears start to come. I am going to miss Dallin so much and just how good he is with my little family. I hate goodbyes.

My grandma Peterson with the kids

Sadie with her great grandma!

Mother's Day was so special this year! It was so fun that Matt and I were able to see our mom's and also my grandma. It is such a special day to celebrate Mother's and their important role in all of our lives. I am so grateful for my examples and am especially grateful that I can be a mom myself. My mom really gave me the true desire and example to just be a mom and serve my kids and put them first. I love you so much mom and you are the most amazing mom I could have ever asked for. How am I so blessed? I am also so grateful for Matt and the wonderful husband and friend that he is. It is also so fun to see my sister's as little mother's and how good they are, and how cute they are with their kids - I love you Jess and Krys!! Happy Mother's Day!
