Christmas Break was really fun! Even though Matt worked a ton, I was able to go up to IF a couple of days and be spoiled. The kids were ecstatic when they found out that they got to go out to breakfast and then to a movie. The kids had so much fun on 4-wheeler rides, and playing in the snow.

Matt's gifts to me

Well, I have to say this was definitely a different Christmas. Matt had to be to work by 7 am, so we woke the kids up at 6 a.m. so Matt could see them get their gifts from Santa. The kids were so excited! After Matt left, I just spent some time with the kids. It was a weird feeling not having Matt there to share such a special holiday with. That afternoon, the kids and I hurried up to IF to get our gifts from my parents, and also give them their gifts. It was fun to see them especially where I was a little sad. Then, we hurried back to Pocatello so we could be there when Matt got home at 7 that night. When he got home we opened up the rest of our presents. So, it ended up being a very Merry Christmas!

The Excitement Before Christmas

Sadie holding Logan

I could stare at little Logan all day!

Whitney did muffins hair in two ponytails

I can't believe her hair is long enough

They opened Grandma and Grandpa Payne's presents on Christmas Eve

He was so excited!

Sadie was thrilled

The kids got into their pj's and we did Gingerbread Houses!

They were eating the candy as they went along!

They were so cute and you could just feel the excitement

The finished product

Cookies for Santa

They used their pillowcases from Grandma Payne for sleeping bags! They wanted to sleep together on the floor for Christmas Eve!

I love Christmas Eve almost more then Christmas Day! There is just so much to look forward to and so much excitement. Matt didn't have Christmas Day off, but he had Christmas Eve off so we tried to make the most of it. The kids opened their gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Payne, we did Gingerbread Houses, and made cookies for Santa and just had so much fun together!
