On our way home for Christmas Matt had some interviews in Utah so we were able to stop and spend time at my Grandma & Grandpa Andrus's house. It is always so fun to stay with them. They make us feel so welcome and it is so fun to have Amy and her kids so close as well. Thanks for everything! We love you!

Mesa Temple

Matt and me

Best Friends

Our little family - poor Sophie with that hat!

She just kept jumping up places and posing
Sadie wanted to take one of us!

Our little angel

I wish my camera could show off the lights a little more

I can't get enough of her

I adore my family

On Sunday Matt and I went to see my cousin Jill and her husband Jared and their family. It is always so much fun to get together with them. They are some of my favorite people ever! They live in Gilbert so when we left their house we drove over to the Mesa Temple. I think besides Temple Square in Salt Lake these are the best lights I have seen. The nativity is so neat, it actually starts the scene of events before the baby Jesus was even born. The lights were spectacular. Especially with the lights reflecting off of the pool of water in front. My kids were in heaven. It was so fun to see all of the missionaries there, and they are so sweet and willing to take your picture!

Candy Wonderland!

This is how mine would look in a perfect world

The kids with the Gingerbread kits

They were so proud

Sadie helping Connor

So sweet she could be candy

Way too proud of their creations

The kids were so excited to do Gingerbread Houses for family night. They really thought they had died and gone to heaven when we poured out all of the candy and the selections that they had to choose from. Sadie is so artistic that it was her dream, her only problem was that she wanted Connor's to be as perfect as hers. He couldn't careless how it looked, he was just putting candy everywhere. It was sending Sadie over! She kept trying to help him and he didn't like it!He did however, love sneaking the frosting and I bet he has such a tummy ache right now! After it was all said and done there was frosting everywhere, candy rolling around, and it really did look like a miniature candy land - and not in a good way. I love my kids and doing things with them is always so much fun! Good thing Matt was there, the roof kept falling off and I was getting so frustrated. Of course he figured it out! I don't know why little things like that make me so impatient!
