My aunt Lori called and invited us to a family BBQ in Mesa. It was so fun to go and see so much of my family that I haven't seen in awhile. For instance, my cousin Austin who is in the Army, was there with his family. I was finally able to meet his beautiful wife, and darling kids. He is such a stud!!! It was so fun to see everybody again and so fun to get some pictures with all of the "cousins" who were there! We also tried to keep getting pictures of our kids, but that never works, so we did the best we could. My grandma and grandpa Peterson were there and it was also so fun to see them. Seriously, it brought back so many fun cabin, luau, and AZ memories! Then, we were able to hear an incredible story that Austin told. It really touched me and I appreciated him sharing it so much. It was a very special night and we had a blast!

The Plane

For the kids Spring Break the kids and I flew to Idaho. Before we boarded the plane Sadie said to me, "Mom, I am going to sit by the window because Connor is scared of the sky." She wanted me to think she was thinking of others, but she just really wanted the window seat! When we were on the plane ready to take off Connor looked at me with his big eyes so concerned and said, "Mom, is the pwane(plane)scared?" I thought it was so cute. And, then we were on the runway for a while waiting our turn to take off and Sadie was getting so impatient and finally said, "Mom, when are we going to blast?"

We had so much fun in Idaho, Matt matched while we were there and so he drove up. We were so busy trying to find a place to live and get pre-qualified it felt like a whirlwind trip. We barely got back to AZ. It was a long drive, but so happy to finally be home.

Matt Matched!

I am so grateful that Matt was able to get matched at our #1 choice. Idaho State University is an amazing family residency. Matt will be able to go Salt Lake for a couple of months to get his pediatric training at the Primary Children's Hospital. ISU is known for their amazing doctor's and training. We feel so blessed especially how competive it was to get in. I get to be close to my family and can't wait. I have been away for four years and can't wait to get back close to my home. I am so proud of Matt, I can't even express my love and admiration for him. Thanks for all of the calls and texts-the support means so much!

The Girls

I love my matching yellow girls

My greatest joys!

Connor would have been in this one, but as you can see there are ducks in the background so he was up on the table hiding from them.

Best Sisters

Me and my baby at the pool

I just had to do a quick post about my girls. I have always wanted to be a mom because my mom made it so amazing. In my dream it included having daughters - they always stay with you and for some reason they just have it in them to be obsessed with their moms. So I really hope that is the case with mine. I love Con man so much too, boys just fill a completely different spot in our lives - it is called our whole heart! I am so blessed, not only to be around for my kids, but still healthy, I am so grateful for that.
