Sprinkles

The cupcakes

Couldn't have a cupcake but she was still apart of the fun!

Sadie and Sophie in the playland

Grandma Peterson and Sophie

This is Sophie's new thing, when she is shy she puts her face into her shoulder!

We are in such a mess with moving that I thought I would post some pictures of things we did before our lives turned upside down! Last week we took the kids to Scottsdale and tried out the famous "Sprinkles" store. Let's just say they aren't your typical cupcakes. But, it was fun to try anyway! When we went to my cousins fairwell a couple of Sunday's ago, my Grandma Peterson was also one of the speakers and here are a couple of pictures of Sophie with her. So precious!

My little graduate

Sadie with her teacher, Mr. "J"

Me and my angel

Sadie and her daddy!

Sadie getting her trophy

Connor was so proud of his big sister
Sisters

I mean obviously I hadn't been crying:)

She of course stole the show with that smile

Sadie had her kindergarten graduation today. She was so excited! When the little graduates came walking in and I saw Sadie turn the corner I don't know what happened, but my heart just felt so full of love, joy and pride that I just started to cry. As soon as she saw us (her little family) all in a row she just started to beam! They did a little dance and Mr. J told them how much they meant to him and how much he was going to miss them. Then they got their trophies! The only thing that was a little hard was this morning she said, "I wish grandma and grandpa could be at my graduation today." There were tons of grandparents there today, so it made us miss them. But, we have gotten used to relying on each other for our support. We have truly loved this school district and how amazing it is, it blows my mind how much Sadie has learned and how well she can read, write, and do math. I am so grateful that we had our time here! We love you so much Sades!

Things They Say...

I took Sadie to the dentist the other day and when we got home she wanted to tell Matt what she had. "Dad, guess what, I went to the dentist and I have calories."

There were some guys out drinking at our pool. When we got home Connor was so concerned and I asked him what was wrong and he said, "Mom, dose(those) boys were dwinking beer, now dey(they) can't go on missions" and then he paused and said, "Dawin(Dallin - my brother on a mission) doesn't dwink beer.

On Friday when we got home from picking Sadie up from school this is how our conversation went...
Sadie: Bad news Mom!
Me: What is bad news?
Sadie: Brett and I broke up!
Me: Um....who is Brett?
Sadie: My boyfriend
Me: You had a boyfriend? Since when?
Sadie: Since McDonald's (we saw him there one day)
Me: Well, who broke up, you or him?
Sadie: Me -giggle giggle giggle
Me: Um...

Okay, well we talked of course and it doesn't matter now because she is "in love" with Nick Jonas, and two boys in her primary, so Brett is old news. However, the best part for me is what a bad mood Matt was in after this story. It like ruined his whole day. He did not find it as amusing as I did. I just remember how dramatic those situations used to be.

The Blinky

At the pool (luckily Natalie had her camera)

Down for the night

Getting all situated to start going to sleep

Sophie will not fall asleep with out her blanket. Any type of cloth material will do! So, Matt calls it her "blinky"(for blanket and binkie mixed). So I captured some pictures of it because it is the cutest thing ever, I can't handle it!

Mother's Day

I could not be a mom if it weren't for Matt, Sadie, Connor, and Sophie. It doesn't even matter what presents I got for Mother's Day, because these four are my greatest treasures!

My sister emailed me this because she knows how much I love High School Musical 3. Plus, I think Zac Efron is so cute! I mean, watching this you can just see that our chemistry is undeniable:). When I saw it I couldn't stop laughing. I have been really edgy and bugged lately so this helped me a lot! Thanks Krys!

"Please Don't Take The Girl..."

Connor picked Lexi a flower

Connor and Lexi sneaking our Sonic's

The song, "Please, Don't Take the Girl" by Tim McGraw is such a good song, but it does not apply to Connor. His best friend is a girl and he doesn't care who knows it:)!
Connor and Lexi have become the cutest friends in the world. They go swimming together everyday and lately Lexi has been able to come with us to the park and ice cream. It has been so fun to have her with us. The other day we were walking to the park and Connor picked Lexi a flower and gave it to her, so I had to get a picture. And, they always still our drinks so Natalie caught them in the act!
The other day Connor and Sadie were talking about how they wanted to live at home forever. I told them they could until they got married. Connor looked up with me with his big puppy dog eyes - so concerned and said, "But, I want to mawwy (marry) you mom." I just grabbed him and hugged him and said, "I know buddy!!" It melted my heart!

Comparisons

Sadie at 6 months

Connor at 6 months

Sophie at 6 months

Sophie is 9 months now, so I decided to do a little comparison of all my kids at 6 months before I get the new set of Soph's pictures taken!
